Free trials of CMS Orbit open in

Planned

Orbit is built to grow. Here's what is planned.

CMS Orbit is the first satellite. Six more are planned, each a separate tool for a different part of your work. All of them share the sign-in, people and regions your organisation sets up once in Orbit.

What planned means

Designed, not yet ready to use

We show the planned satellites so you can see where Orbit is going. We mark each one clearly until you can use it.

Designed, not built

We know what each planned satellite is for and how it fits the platform. None of them can be used yet, and we won't call one available until it is.

Built on what already runs

Sign-in, single sign-on, people, roles, regions, Orbit Exchange and EU hosting are live today with CMS Orbit. A new satellite uses them instead of starting again.

Shaped by what you need

Which satellite comes next, and what its first version does, depends on what the organisations we work with need most.

How Orbit grows

Add a satellite, not another system

When a satellite launches, it appears in Orbit next to the ones you already use. Your people open it with the sign-in they already have, with the roles your owners give them, in the regions you have already set up.

Satellites tell each other what happens through Orbit Exchange, so a new one works with the ones you have instead of standing on its own. There is no new account to create, no second list of people to keep up to date and no separate login to remember.

From planned to available

How a satellite gets here

  1. 01

    Planned

We know what it is for and how it fits. It is listed here and in the Products menu, marked as planned.

  2. 02

    Shaped with launch partners

We work out what the first version does with organisations that need it, and they try it before anyone else.

  3. 03

    Available

It gets its own plans and a free trial. Owners add it under Billing in Orbit, and their people find it next to everything else.

Questions

About the planned satellites

When will the planned satellites be available?

We don't give dates for satellites that aren't built yet. Each one launches when it is ready to use, and the order depends on what organisations need most. Tell us which one matters to you, and we'll keep you posted.

Can we try a planned satellite early?

Organisations that help shape a satellite try it as launch partners before it opens to everyone. Talk to us if you'd like to be one.

What will the planned satellites cost?

Each satellite gets its own plans and a free trial when it launches. Orbit and Orbit Exchange stay free, and you only pay for the satellites you use.

Do we need to wait to start?

No. CMS Orbit is available now, and what you set up for it, your sign-in, people, roles and regions, is ready for each satellite that follows.

What happens when we shape a satellite with you?

You bring the problem and we shape the idea together. If we decide it would be useful to many organisations, we build it as part of the Orbit family, and you help shape it as a launch partner. If we decide not to, you can still commission it as a satellite of your own.

One sign-in for every tool your team uses

Why we built Bifröst Orbit: one place for sign-in, people and access, with every tool your organisation adds sharing the same foundation. Orbit itself is free.

Which satellite would help you most?

Tell us what your organisation needs. It helps us decide what comes next, and we'll let you know when it's ready.
