How pricing works

Included for every organisation

The centre of your orbit costs nothing.

Orbit and Orbit Exchange are free, for good. Bring your people in, set up your organisation and connect your systems before you pay for anything.

€0

  • Per organisation, every month
  • No limit on members
  • No card, no trial end
  • One sign-in

Every satellite opens with the same sign-in, with email codes, Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace and single sign-on required for your domains.

  • Your people, once

Organisations, members, roles and regions live in one place, and every satellite follows them.

  • Systems that talk

Orbit Exchange passes events between satellites and your own systems, so work flows on its own.

  • Everything at a glance

Search, tasks and status from every satellite, together on one home screen.

Then choose your satellites

Each satellite has its own plans, so you pay only for what you use. Prices in euros, excluding VAT.

Questions

Plans and trials

How does pricing work?

Orbit and Orbit Exchange are free for every organisation: sign-in, single sign-on, people, roles, regions and events between satellites. You pay for each satellite you use, with its own plans, so adding a satellite never changes the price of the others.

How does the free trial work?

Create your free Orbit account and organisation, then start a 14-day trial of CMS Orbit on Starter or Growth, with your own team and content. No card needed, and Orbit itself is always free.

Do I need a card to start?

No. There's nothing to pay during the trial.

What happens when the trial ends?

Nothing is deleted. CMS Orbit becomes read-only and your websites pause until an owner chooses a plan under Billing in Orbit. Everything then carries on as you left it. Owners get an email three days and one day before the trial ends.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. Owners switch plans under Billing in Orbit at any time. A change applies straight away and the difference for the rest of the period is worked out for you. If you cancel your only paid satellite, it keeps working until the end of the period you paid for. If you pay for others too, it stops straight away and the unused time is taken off your next invoice.

What happens when we reach a limit?

Nothing stops working. Each place in CMS Orbit shows how much of your plan you use, such as websites, storage or translation, and adding more is paused until you upgrade or free up room. Monthly allowances start again on the 1st, and history older than your plan shows is kept and comes back after an upgrade.

Will my price change?

You keep the price you subscribed at for as long as you stay on that plan. If our prices change, they apply to new subscriptions and plan changes.

Do prices include VAT?

No, prices exclude VAT. VAT follows your billing address and is shown before you pay. Businesses in Germany pay German VAT. Businesses elsewhere in the EU with a valid VAT number pay no VAT, through the reverse charge. Your invoices are under Billing in Orbit.

Where is my data stored?

In the EU. The platform runs in a data centre in Spain, and files are stored and email is sent in Ireland. Our network provider may route traffic outside the EU under standard safeguards. The list of sub-processors names every provider.
