Why SEO matters, and how CMS Orbit builds it in
Search brings the visitors you don't pay for each time, but small mistakes undo months of work. Here's how CMS Orbit catches them before they cost you.

CMS Orbit
CMS Orbit is a headless CMS for websites and mobile apps. Editors build pages from your components and see them in the real website as they type. Reviews, releases and SEO checks keep every page accurate, in every region and language.
The editor
The live preview shows your website beside the editor at desktop, tablet and phone widths. Click any block to edit it, and changes save as you type.
You're looking at this very website, edited in CMS Orbit.
Components
Developers define the components and their fields; editors fill them in. Each component knows where it's used, so you can see which pages a change will reach before you make it.
Shared sections
A shared section is a group of blocks kept in one place and shown on as many pages as you like. Edit it on any page that shows it and every page changes with it. It has its own draft and publishing, and its preview shows the section on its own.
The security band near the end of this page is a shared section, shown on three pages of this website.
Approved claims
Wording that must be exact, such as a guarantee or a disclaimer, comes from a library rather than being typed. Change it once and every page that uses it updates within a minute.
Menus, settings and collections
Build menus in the CMS, from a simple footer to a mega menu with descriptions and badges. Links to pages follow them when they move. Contact details, header buttons and other shared settings live in Site settings.
Records without a page of their own, such as FAQ entries, open in a side panel, so you never leave the list.
Go live
Prepare changes in Staging and promote them to Production when they're ready.
Regions and languages
Run one website across countries, each with its own languages and fallbacks. Copy a page to another region, keep the values that belong there, such as prices, and pull in later changes from the source when you're ready.
Text fields can suggest a translation to start from. A person always checks it first.
SEO health
Every website gets a score, with quick wins first and issues to fix page by page. Drafts are checked too, so a fix shows up as soon as it's saved.

AI agents over MCP
Connect Claude, Cursor, VS Code or any MCP client. Agents find and read pages, write drafts, improve SEO text and copy pages to other regions, and every change waits for a person to approve.
Improve the SEO descriptions on our five weakest pages.
I rewrote the descriptions on the five pages SEO health flagged, starting with Pricing, and sent them for review. Each one is marked Drafted by AI.

Render pages with your own React components, generate types from your schema and refresh only what changed when someone publishes. Official SDKs for PHP, Swift and Kotlin read the same content in Laravel, Symfony and native apps, and REST and GraphQL cover everything else.

Access is decided in one place, every change in CMS Orbit is recorded, and your content is hosted in the EU.
We run the service with a few trusted providers, named in our list of sub-processors.
Questions
Yes. Editors build pages in a visual editor with a live preview of the real website. They add blocks, drag them into place and check each change on desktop, tablet and phone before it goes live. Reviews, scheduling and undo are built in, and nobody has to write code.
No. There are official SDKs for JavaScript and TypeScript, PHP, Swift and Kotlin, with ready-made help for Next.js and React. Content also comes as JSON over a plain HTTP API and over GraphQL, so a website or app built with Python, Ruby, .NET, Go or anything else can use it too. No SDK is a requirement.
Yes. You can download a whole website at any time as one JSON file, with its content types, blocks, pages, menus and redirects. Every entry is also available as structured JSON through the APIs, so your content is never tied to a layout or to the SDK.
Webhooks tell your other systems the moment something is published, the management API lets your own code read and write content, and the delivery and GraphQL APIs serve it to any website or app. An MCP server connects AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT, and single sign-on works with Microsoft Entra ID and Google Workspace.
In the EU. The platform runs in a data centre in Spain, and files are stored and email is sent in Ireland. Our network provider may route traffic outside the EU under standard safeguards. The list of sub-processors names every provider.
Every feature is documented at docs.bifrostorbit.com, with step-by-step guides for editors and developers, full API references and a guide for AI agents. You can also ask our team in the chat on every page, and a person answers.
