About Bifröst Orbit
Every system has a world of its own. The potential lies between them.
Bifröst Orbit is one platform for the tools an organisation runs on: one sign-in, one set of people and products that share what they know. Here's the idea behind it, how it is built and the principles we hold it to.
Why we're building it
Organisations run on more and more systems: a CMS for the website, tools for bookings, hiring and support, and services that pass data between them. Each has its own accounts, permissions and way of working, and connecting them is usually harder than it should be.
Bifröst Orbit starts from a different idea: give these systems a shared foundation. One place where people sign in and get access. Products that share the same people, regions and search. Changes that travel between them as events, so one system can act on what happened in another.
The aim isn't to add another tool to a crowded stack. It's to make the stack work together.
The architecture
One centre. Products in orbit around it.
Orbit, the centre: Orbit holds what every tool needs and nobody wants to set up twice: who your people are, which organisations and regions they belong to, how they sign in and what they may open. Single sign-on, roles and access are decided here, once.
Satellites, each with a purpose: CMS Orbit and the products after it are satellites. Each is its own application with its own data, built to do one job well, and each trusts Orbit for sign-in and access instead of keeping its own copy of your people.
Orbit Exchange, the bridge: When something happens in one satellite, such as a page going live, it is announced as an event with a fixed, versioned shape. Other satellites and your own systems can act on it, without the products being wired to each other.
Open at the edges: Everything a satellite does can be reached through documented APIs, webhooks and an MCP server for AI assistants, so the platform fits around the systems you already have.

The story behind the name
One bridge. Many worlds.
Bifröst, the bridge between worlds: In Norse mythology, Bifröst links Midgard, the world of people, with Asgard, the realm of the gods. For us it stands for systems that would otherwise stay apart, talking through one foundation.
Orbit, everything in motion: An orbit is a path around a centre. In Bifröst Orbit, Orbit is the centre, and every product circles it with a purpose of its own while staying part of one system.
What we stand for
Connected by design
Six ideas shape what we build and how we talk about it.
How we build
Principles we don't trade away
The decisions behind every product, written down so you can hold us to them.
Where we're heading
CMS Orbit is available today. Presence, Careers, Travel, Booking, Commerce and Insights are planned, each built on the same foundation, and we mark them as coming until they're ready to use. We'd rather show you what the platform does than promise what it might do.
If your organisation needs something we don't offer yet, tell us. The next satellite might be built around how you work.
Build what becomes possible when systems connect.
Start with CMS Orbit and bring the rest of your systems into orbit as each product arrives. The trial is free for 14 days.
